• Started by the University of Mumbai
and Jai Hind College in 2002-2003
• Three year degree course with 35 seats per year
• Admission on H.S.C. Merit Basis
• Unaided course and one of the popular options in biological
sciences
• The syllabus has been recently revised by the Ad hoc
board of studies taking into account feedback from
Industry and Teachers teaching the course.

ACHIEVEMENTS

Dr A. Joshi has completed a Major UGC research project titled
“Noise Mapping of Greater Mumbai”. She
is a recognized guide for M.Sc. by research and papers in Biotechnology
and a Ph.D. guide in Botany. She is also member
Board of Studies Botany.
•
Dr A Ashtekar has successfully completed a minor research project
and is recognized for M.Sc. by research and papers
in Biotechnology.
•
Mrs Shuchita Deepak is currently pursuing her Ph.D. will be
submitting her synopsis shortly.
•
Mrs Kruti Pandya is registering for her Ph.D.
•
Mrs Nissey Sunil joined us as a faculty this year.
•
All teachers are examiners or moderators and paper setters at
University of Mumbai.
