Junior College Department of Arts

Each of the subjects offered to the students play an important role in contributing to the students deeper understanding of the subject and lays a foundation for the students to pursue the subject further at university level. All the teachers are not only equipped with the required academic qualifications but possess a great deal of experience which adds to their teaching value.

The Arts Faculty of Junior College strives to create a balance of an academic and a holistic approach towards teaching of all the subjects in Humanities. Students are encouraged to question and participate in active discussions during lectures to enhance the entire learning process. While the students of the 11th grade are introduced to subjects like Logic and Philosophy, Psychology and Political Science; subjects which they might not have studied in school, the students of the 12th grade are academically groomed for the 12th grade HSC examination.
