SWAYAM is a programme initiated by Government of India and is designed to achieve the three cardinal principles of Education Policy viz., access, equity and quality. The objective of this effort is to take the best teaching learning resources to all, including the most disadvantaged. NPTEL is one of the 9 national coordinators which offer MOOCs in diverse areas like Architecture & Planning, Education, Engineering & Technology, Humanities & Arts, Law, Management & Commerce, Math & Sciences. Students can take up MOOCs offered by NPTEL-SWAYAM to claim credits in their academic program at Jai Hind College Autonomous.
