The Commerce Department at Jai Hind College is one of the most popular and dynamic departments, offering a range of courses at the B.Com. and Renowned for its Legal and entrepreneurial activities, the department established an Entrepreneurship Cell in 2008. This E-cell has since become the most vibrant and dynamic cell at Jai Hind College, actively fostering innovation and providing numerous opportunities for students to develop their entrepreneurial skills. It regularly hosts workshops, seminars, and competitions to encourage and support budding entrepreneurs.

Mr Ashok Kotangle ,advocate serves as an assistant professor since 2002. He holds BSc,LLM,MBA,CS (Intermediate Group 1) and qualified SET examination in 1995 and practising since 33 years and teaching 31 years. He is a counsel for Government of Maharashtra, Special Counsel for MPSC and seniors standing counsel for Department of Income Tax

Course intends to deliver the understanding of basic concepts of law and its application. Business law is that branch of legal system that regulates business activities and provides for an orderly conduct of business affair and also for settlement of legitimate disputes in just and systematic manner.
