We keep students updated with recent developments and encourage participation in conferences, seminars, and workshops to pursue research. Our faculty specializes in algebra, analysis, and applied mathematics. Our alumni work in sectors like education, research, IT, finance, etc. and often support current students.

Message from
the HOD

Our college began its journey in 1948, and the Mathematics Department was established alongside the introduction of the BSc program. Mathematics is present everywhere, in nature and technology. It is both beautiful and powerful, nurturing skills such as reasoning, abstract and critical thinking, and problem-solving. In our department, we teach students to understand and represent mathematical patterns, reason, prove, and discover the truth. We are proud learners of mathematics, aspiring to experience its rhythm in life, and we are committed to our vision.
