Department of Physics (B.Sc)

About the
department

The Physics Department, established in 1949, comprises highly dedicated professors. It aims to ignite students' curiosity with hands-on experiences. In the 2022-2023 academic year, the department hosted spotlight talks on research careers and dark matter, a workshop on radiochemistry, and a debate on AI in education. A trip to the Giant Metrewave Radio Telescope introduced students to radio astronomy, and PHYZEX 2023 showcased a physics exhibition, a circuit competition, and other events.
