CIF (Center for Research Facilities)
The Central Instrumentation Facility (CIF) at Jai Hind College, inaugurated on 14th July 2015, is a state-of-the-art laboratory housing sophisticated analytical instruments designed to support advanced scientific research. These instruments have been procured through generous funding from DST-FIST, UGC, and the college management. The facility is accessible to faculty and students of the college and is also extended to external researchers. It serves as a hub for student and faculty research, while also hosting hands-on training workshops and internship programs, fostering skill development and innovation.
The list of instruments housed in the Central Instrumentation Facility (CIF) is as follows:
1. Differential Scanning Calorimeter
2. High-Performance Liquid Chromatography with VWD
3. FTIR Spectrometer
4. Spectrofluorimeter
5. Uv-vis Spectrometer
6. Rotary Evaporator
7. Binocular Microscope with LED
8. Refrigerated Centrifuge
9. Gel Documentation
10. Gel Rocker
11. Fraction Collector
12. Melting point apparatus
13. Double distillation unit
14. Karl Fischer Apparatus
